Vintage Lion Artwork

Vintage needlework from my personal collection. This piece would be a great focal point or accent in a child's bedroom or reading corner or as a new baby gift for a little one born under the Leo sign. This particular piece is labeled "March 1967" and hails from a rural estate in Maine. A great example of hand embroidered needlework. This lion is in shades of yellow, brown and red and has charming deep blue eyes. Beautiful frame has a rustic (wood) surface and contrasts against finished edges. The frame measures 11 inches tall by 14 inches wide and has a tiny 3/4 of an inch hole at the lower left (see pictures). The glass is in pristine condition and the price is reflective of the frame's condition. The back is covered with a heavy paper backing and a sawtooth hanger is included.
